In 2023, approximately 30,000 L of diesel was lost from a truck roll over on the Stuart Highway ~960km northwest of Adelaide. The lateral extent of original surface impact was around 400 m2, including impacts to an ephemeral creek that is culturally sensitive to the Yankunytjatjara people.

Module 5A session will be presented by Alan Bull and focus on the basic concepts of chemistry and environmental chemistry. Module 5B session will be presented by Brent Davey and will run after the lunchtime break in the afternoon and will focus on understanding how laboratories work, what laboratory and QA/QC data means (and doesn’t mean) for soil, groundwater and soil vapour / gas, and how to use measures such as 95%UCL and RPDs in interpreting your data.
