ACLCA's mission is to pursue and promote best practice and ongoing professional development across the contaminated land industry.

This is guided by our three key values:

Advocacy

ACLCA engage with relevant stakeholders to assist in the development and maintenance of industry standards and guidelines on behalf of the industry

Collaboration

ACLCA provide a platform for knowledge sharing amongst members and broader industry stakeholders

Learning

ACLCA provide and promote ongoing professional development and funding for industry based research projects

Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA) is a corporate based professional association established in NSW in 1995.  ACLCA is state based, with chapters now also in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

ACLCA NSW runs monthly technical seminars for members only, usually on the last Wednesday of each month, which are free to attend.  These seminars are also a great networking opportunity as we serve drinks and finger food prior to the presentations.  The seminars are available for members to attend in person or online as webinars.

We also run various half day workshops throughout the year, as well as at least one free social event for members.  As a not-for-profit association, we place great importance on offering high quality training opportunities for our members at subsidised rates.  Have a look at our 'Training & Events' page to find further information about all of our upcoming events.

Members are reminded that attendance at our training events counts towards CPD hours required by industry accreditation programs, as long as members register online to attend our events.  Members are encouraged to keep track of their own attendance at industry events, so please retain a copy of your registration email for your records.

ACLCA NSW members are entitled to discounted rates to attend UTS CSARM short courses, and some other industry training events.

Check out our RESOURCES page for useful links for members about webinar recordings, industry guidelines, training, etc.

Looking For a Contaminated Land Consultant in NSW?

As part of the membership review process, contaminated land consultants are required to demonstrate professional competency, appropriate work practices and standards, and implementation of quality management systems. In addition to this, our members are bound by ACLCA NSW code of practice that not only focusses on maintaining these competencies but also on facilitating continuing professional development.

While we are unable to recommend a particular consultant, you can find the contact details of our members here.
