Early Career Professionals Sub Committee

Who are we?

ACLCA SA's Young Professional (YP) program comprises land contamination practitioners within their first seven years of consulting. The aim is for this group to network with other YP consultants, keep up to date with the goings on within our industry, brainstorm ideas for training and networking sessions that address YP needs, and provide a platform for YPs to shape our industry.

What do we do?

The YP subcommittee discuss, organise and present to the SA ACLCA committee opportunities and ideas that will be beneficial to YPs and our industry. This year’s aim of the subcommittee is to:

  • Provide training sessions focussed on the needs of YPs
  • Organise the Young Professionals Forum – 2019 CleanUp Presentations
  • Organise a YP-focussed social networking event
  • Organise a social media platform for all YPs in our industry
  • Develop relationships with industry bodies

Why should you join?

You will be given the opportunity to shape and influence our industry, have a networking platform to liaise with other YPs and experienced professionals within the industry, and engage and organise ACLCA social functions and information nights.

New events are always being introduced so joining will allow you to have your say and assist with organising events and information sessions that will benefit ACLCA members.  Participation will provide you opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and raise your profile with key members of our industry.

How you can join?

The YP subcommittee meet at a city location bimonthly for planning purposes.

New members are always welcome.

If you have any suggestions for an event or workshop you would like held or iin joining, please contact the Secretariat in the first instance at sa@aclca.com.au.
