The Recovered Soil Order and Exemption is being proposed to facilitate the reuse of processed excavated material which may include the processing of soil, which can be reused for earthworks and as engineering fill. NSW EPA is seeking to implement the new requirements in the first quarter of 2022 and feedback on the draft orders and exemptions must be provided by COB 4th March 2022 to waste.exemptions@epa.nsw.gov.au.
