The Tarin McBride Memorial Award
The Tarin McBride Memorial Award is presented in memory of Tarin McBride, a former top student in the RMIT Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science Degree, a member of the ACLCA Early Career Professionals Focus Area and graduate environmental engineer at CDM Smith, who was an exceptionally passionate, talented and dedicated scientist and engineer, who always strived to do his best and help others to do the same.
Award: The award is to be granted to the student group (3 to 5 students), who perform best in the group research project undertaken in the Land Contam. & Remediation unit, as part of the Environmental Engineering course, RMIT University Melbourne.
The Award offers:
- One Year Associate Membership to ACLCA Victoria
- Free registration to Module 1 – 3 of ACLCA’s continuing professional development program: Introduction to Environmental Site Assessment (This comprises: – Module 1: Phase 1 Site Assessments – Module 2: Field Work Investigations – Module 3: Phase 2 Site Assessments (Interpretation & Reporting))
