The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is seeking your assistance to circulate the following information to members and stakeholders who may have an interest in the Landfill and Sewage Treatment Plant PFAS Monitoring Chemical Control Order (CCO).
The webinars are intended for licensed landfills, sewage treatment plants, environmental consultants, and others who support or have an interest in PFAS monitoring and reporting requirements.
The CCO will commence on 1 October 2026 and introduces PFAS monitoring and reporting requirements for licensed landfills and sewage treatment plants across NSW.

The Landfill and Sewage Treatment Plant PFAS Monitoring CCO establishes consistent, science-based PFAS monitoring requirements for licensed landfills and sewage treatment plants across NSW. Guidance is now available to support licence holders in understanding and implementing the new requirements.
