Member comments – Queensland Government proposed changes to the regulated waste threshold values for PFAS in the Environmental Protection Regulation 2019

Dear Members

The Department invites industry stakeholders and the general community to have their say about a proposal to amend the threshold values (or levels) for per and polyflouroalkyl substances (PFAS) in regulated waste..

Consultation opened on Friday 30 August and closes at 5pm on Friday 27 September 2024.

Feedback from this consultation will be reviewed and will inform consideration about the proposal to amend the threshold values for PFAS in regulated waste.

ACLCA intend to submit a compiled response to the proposed amendment representing the industry. The Executive Committee request members to submit comments to qld@aclca.com.au by 4.00pm Friday 20th September 2024.
