FIELD TIPS AND TRICKS
ACLCA Victoria is excited to welcome the following three short workshops for our May Member Presentation. The workshops will occur simultaneously and attendees will rotate between each station having the opportunity to participate in all workshops with time at the end to revisit any they have extra interest in.
Workshop stations:
- Asbestos For Dummies! Heard much about asbestos? Maybe that it’s dangerous? Or that it makes you grow wings? Well come on down to Asbestos For Dummies – where we’ll find out the fact and fiction of asbestos, including: How to identify asbestos in the wild (i.e. built environment); A fascinating history on a magical chemical; Some chemistry; and leave with some… Facts to whip out at your regular pub trivia!
- Calibration Station Have you ever had trouble calibrating your WQM? Come along to learn some field equipment tips and tricks from an Enqip representative.
- What’s in my Tool bag? Have you ever started prepping for some upcoming field work and been unsure about what to take with you out to site? Come along and learn about what those who have been sampling out in the field for a few years always take with them.
