Legion Environmental Drilling Workshop

This short, practical workshop covers the essentials of environmental drilling methods, with a strong focus on real-world application.
Key topics include:
- Overview of common environmental drilling techniques, including Sonic drilling, Geoprobe (direct-push), Membrane Interface probe (MIP) and Hydraulic Profiling Tool (HPT)
- Rig selection considerations for different site conditions and project objectives
- Understanding and minimising sample disturbance
- Bore clearance, well installation, and proper well development techniques
Participants will spend most of the session observing and discussing live field demonstrations with a focus on getting answers to your burning questions. Ideal for consultants, and field staff who want a clear, practical refresher on environmental drilling fundamentals.
