30 March 2026 QUT Women in Science Across Industry and Academia Panel Event.
A huge thank you to Steph Napoleon (Senversa) and Nicole Davey (Senversa) for representing ACLCA at this very successful event.
The Women in Science panel spoke to students on their journeys into either academia and/or industry in various fields (astrophysics / chemistry / marine science / biomedical science). All in attendance especially enjoyed hearing from Dr Katrina Wruck 2025 Young Australian of the Year.
Steph and Nicole had the opportunity to ‘network and meet some very very intelligent and engaged enviro and earth science students.’ Steph and Nicole offered students their perspectives within the science industry and insights on what the contaminant and remediation industry looks like.
Appreciation has been offered to QUT President of Women in Science & Industry and Alumni Liaison, QUT Women in Science for inviting ACLCA to represent at this and future events. Thanks again Steph and Nicole.
