Congratulations to Kyle Sier (Reditus Consulting) who was last night announced the winner of the 2026 Young Achiever Award!
We had 20 submissions for the award this year, with the quality of applications exceptionally high, and the selection process was highly competitive. Thank you to all of those who submitted abstracts; they demonstrated that the future is bright – we have some incredible early career professionals in our midst! Each of the abstracts were anonymous and evaluated independently by senior members within the Association, and four were selected to present at the Finalist Evening last night.
The finalist presentations were exceptional this year, with such close scores between all finalists.

Congratulations and thank you so much to all of our presenters who gave such interesting & professional presentations. We appreciate the work they put into preparing their presentations as well as the nerves involved in presenting. Every year we are impressed by the high standard of presentations which shows we have some very talented members in the early stages of their careers.
We would also like to thank our judges for their time in what is always a difficult job – Anne Colville (UTS), Hamish Campbell (NSW EPA) and Brad May (Onterris).
